Westmeath bride's Spring wedding was made with hilarious surprise singing waiter
The happy couple first met in 2014 when their love story began at the Stags Head in Dublin and the pair have been together ever since. Take a look at their wedding below
Adele Ward from Westmeath and Colin Brennan from Dublin.
Our story began in Dublin in 2014, when I was studying at DCU. We first met at The Stags Head and had planned to go to a comedy show that night, but we couldn't actually find it.

Instead, we ended up sitting and chatting for the entire night until the bar closed and we've been together ever since!
We got engaged on October 30th, 2021. It was an unforgettable day, filled with surprises and special moments that we will cherish forever. We started the day with a McDonald's breakfast, which is my absolute favourite, before heading to my favourite place in the world, Lough Ennell.
Colin found a beautiful, secluded spot where he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.
We spent some time celebrating with family before heading for a gorgeous meal at Fx Buckleys and a stay in a Dublin hotel.
We had the most amazing wedding at The Station House Hotel in Kilmessan, Co. Meath.

We had an outdoor ceremony, a ring warming ceremony with Emma Sides as our celebrant. It was a beautiful way to involve our guests in our wedding ceremony. Along with our mothers, we had a sand ceremony.
During the ceremony, each of our mothers poured sand into a beautiful glass vase, symbolising the coming together of our families.
We had our speeches at the bar before our meal to keep things casual. After a gorgeous meal and surprise appearance from Singers Secreto, we went outside for our first dance and danced the night away to Bluemoose.
We knew we wanted to have our wedding at The Station House as soon as we saw it. The outdoor ceremony area at The Station House was the perfect fit for us, as it captured the style we were looking for.
We were blown away by the beauty of the flowers hanging from the ceiling of the reception room, it added the perfect touch of glamour to the day, which was otherwise designed to be casual and fun.
We knew we wanted our guests to be able to relax and enjoy the whole day without having to worry about changing venues between the ceremony, the reception, and their accommodation, and The Station House provided everything we wanted.
I got my wedding dress in The White Room in Mullingar. My dress is by Paloma Bianco and my cape is Jesus Peiro.
Dress shopping was such much fun! I didn't want to get overwhelmed with too many options and was very lucky to instantly fall in love with two a-line dresses which were very similar.

I saw the Jesus Peiro cape online and knew I needed to try it - the second I put on the cape with the Paloma Bianco gown, I had no doubts that this was the dress for me. The simple elegance of the gown combined with the dramatic effect of the cape was exactly what I was looking for.
Our photographer was Pawel Bebenca.
The photographer was one of the most important decisions for us. We knew we wanted a documentary style photographer as we didn't want to spend too much time away from our guests. We were blown away with our photos - Pawel is fantastic.
Our wedding band was Bluemoose. We wanted a band with more of a rock style and they had our guests on the dance floor all night!
Our first dance song was Calico Skies by Paul McCartney. We are huge fans and the song always held a special place in our hearts.
We knew what our first dance would be long before we were engaged!
Our performance from Singers Secrato after our meal was so much fun.
Disguised as a waiter, our singer fell with more than one guest rushing over to help him. As soon as he jumped up and started singing, the entire room erupted into laughter.
Everybody danced around the room for the entire performance. It was a great way to get us up and moving after our meal. The photos and videos are amazing.
Our 25 minute ceremony was cut down to approximately 10 minutes with a heavy downpour after a gorgeous morning of sunshine. It's a ceremony our guests will never forget!
The big decisions like venue, band, photographer were all very easy for us to make.
We knew exactly what we wanted and booked those people well in advance. Colin is very organised so he took control of the logistics for the day!
We went to Lanzarote for a few days after the wedding to relax. In November, we'll be heading on our big honeymoon to Abu Dhabi for the Formula 1.
It's a dream come true for both of us, as we're both big fans and have always wanted to attend a Formula 1 race.
Take time to relax before the wedding. You’ve done everything you can for the day.
Relax and have fun. Trust in your vendors, they know what they’re doing. Soak it all up because it goes so fast.
