We want to create a more sustainable world, and we need your help.

As part of our 'Society 2030: Spirit of Progress' plan, we are committed to becoming sustainable by design, from grain to glass. To achieve our ambitions, we are continuously seeking new ideas and innovations that can help make a difference to our planet.

We know that we don't have all of the answers, so we created our Diageo Sustainable Solutions programme. This exciting initiative invests in new technologies and partnerships with start-ups. We want to advance more sustainable technologies and practices across the full lifecycle of our brands. We welcome new thinking and are eager to try new concepts, to advance a world that protects and nurtures our natural resources.

Our first wave of challenges attracted over 300 applicants and has already resulted in a trial with Exxergy and their partners Ardagh, looking at how we can make thinner glass without impacting strength and shape. And our second wave has attracted some exciting new solutions for sustainable container design, circular models, glass bottle decoration and sustainable packs for e-commerce.
