Saira Khan took to Instagram this weekend (1 Jan) to share a snap of a family dinner to celebrate the first day of 2022.

In the New Year's Day photo, the star sits down to eat with her family and reveals an impressive collection of multi-coloured candlestick holders in the centre of the table.

Tall, twisted candles in bright colours sit in the statement holders to create a stunning centre-piece.

In a caption alongside the image Saira wrote, "New Year's Day. Family supper. Always make the effort for yourself. Food, candles and conversation. It's the little things."

The stunning candlestick holders look like those by Anna + Nina which come in bold colours and shapes. Anna + Nina also make twisted candles in a wide range of hues and designs, just like those in the centre of Saira's dining table.

As well as spending time at the dinner table together, Saira Khan and her family have been getting out in nature to help them communicate with one another.

Yesterday (4 Jan), the family took an 11km walk together "arguing, talking, laughing, debating, reflecting and sharing our thoughts."

In a caption, Saira explained that walking together gave them, "time to listen and open up" and said, "I honestly can't express how much being in nature helps our mental health as a family."
